Sultana Packaging (SP), a prominent player in the corrugated cardboard industry in northeastern of Mexico, serves the region across both the United States and Mexico. With a commitment to excellence since 2008 and over 15 years of experience in the market, Sultana Packaging operates from a 175,000-square-foot facility, delivering exceptional service to a growing client portfolio.

SP faced crucial challenges in inventory management:

With the implementation of new technologies, Sultana Packaging sought to transform its inventory management to achieve greater efficiency, control, and profitability, a goal it achieved thanks to Encore ERP by Amtech.

The adoption of Encore ERP allowed Sultana Packaging to make significant progress in inventory control and management, as well as in cost optimization and internal communication.

Critical challenges were solved, such as inventory disorder and lengthy closing processes, while clear goals were established aimed at operational efficiency and strategic decision-making.

FUTURE PLANS

The O2C functionalities of Encore ERP have allowed us to achieve more efficient control over our processes. Currently, we are engaged in a continuous improvement process focused on automating procedures, particularly in the area of invoicing:

  • Invoicing in Encore ERP: The advanced O2C functionalities of Encore ERP have been crucial in automating our invoicing processes. We are focusing on two main areas: the automation of invoicing and the implementation of electronic invoicing in Mexico.
  • Electronic Invoicing (Mexico): Recently, Amtech developed an interface that connects Encore ERP with electronic invoicing systems authorized by the SAT1 in Mexico. In our case, we work with Contpaqi, and we are currently implementing this interface to optimize and streamline our invoicing process in Encore ERP.

These advancements are part of our ongoing commitment to improving efficiency and accuracy at every stage of our operations, establishing more agile and effective management.
