About the Company

Founded in 1985 and now led by its second generation of ownership, Ellco Etikett is one of Norway’s trusted producers of self-adhesive labels. Located north of Oslo, the company employs approximately 30 people and serves customers that demand reliable quality, fast turnaround times, and exceptional service.

As customer expectations increased and production became more complex, Ellco recognized the need for an ERP system built specifically for label manufacturing.

 

The Challenge

Before implementing Label Traxx, Ellco relied on a generic ERP system that wasn’t designed for label converters. Rather than helping operations, the software created unnecessary work.

Employees routinely entered the same information multiple times simply to satisfy the system’s requirements, while continuing to manage production manually. Critical business information was either unavailable or unreliable, making it difficult to manage inventory, monitor production capacity, or understand job profitability.

The Solution

In 2015, Ellco replaced its legacy ERP with Label Traxx, Amtech Software’s ERP solution purpose-built for label converters.
