Introducing Amtech Visual Analytics: Turn Label Traxx Data Into Faster, Smarter Decisions

Your Label Traxx Data Has Answers. AVA Makes Them Easier to Find.

Label and flexible packaging converters collect valuable operational and financial data every day. But accessing that information—and turning it into something useful—can require manual exports, complicated spreadsheets, ODBC connections, or help from an already-busy IT team.

Even after that work, traditional reports often provide only a snapshot. They may show what happened, but they do not make it easy to investigate why it happened or determine what requires attention next.

Amtech Visual Analytics (AVA), now available for Label Traxx, was built to remove those barriers. AVA transforms Label Traxx data into interactive dashboards and reports, helping converters see how their business is performing, explore the details behind the numbers, and make informed decisions faster.

Turn Label Traxx Data Into Actionable Insight

AVA connects directly to the Label Traxx Data Warehouse and provides prebuilt dashboards designed specifically for label and flexible packaging operations. Instead of starting with a generic business intelligence platform and building everything from scratch, converters can begin analyzing their data immediately.

AVA launches with an initial set of four prebuilt operational dashboards, along with preconfigured financial dashboards and reporting capabilities. Additional operational dashboards will be introduced in the coming months.

Operational dashboards help vice presidents and directors of operations, plant managers, and other production leaders gain a clearer view of business and plant performance. Rather than assembling information from multiple reports, they can see relevant data in one place and drill into the details when something requires further investigation.

Financial dashboards give CFOs, controllers, owners, and general managers a more accessible view of financial performance. This makes it easier to move beyond static totals, examine the information behind them, and answer follow-up questions without rebuilding the analysis in Excel.

Customer service and sales managers can also use AVA to examine order and customer information, better understand performance, and respond to questions with greater confidence.

Move Beyond Static Reporting

A static report answers the question it was designed to answer. When that answer leads to another question, teams often have to run another report, export more data, or ask someone to create a different view.

AVA allows users to drill into their data and follow where it leads. Its simplified reporting views also make it easier to create and extend dashboards without having to understand the full complexity of the underlying data warehouse.

Teams can use AVA to:

  • View preconfigured operational and financial dashboards
  • Drill into supporting data and investigate performance
  • Create and customize dashboards and reports
  • Schedule reports for automatic delivery
  • Distribute information in Excel or PDF formats
  • Give decision-makers consistent access to the information relevant to their roles

The result is less time spent gathering and formatting data—and more time using it to improve the business.

Analytics Built for Label Traxx

Business intelligence platforms such as Power BI and Tableau can provide powerful analytics, but they typically require a significant amount of preparation. Someone must connect the platform to the ERP, model the data, simplify the reporting structure, and build every dashboard before users see value.

AVA arrives pre-connected to the Label Traxx Data Warehouse, with dashboards and reporting views built around the needs of label and flexible packaging converters. The foundational integration and development work is already done.

For current Label Traxx customers, AVA provides a direct path from the data already in their ERP to clearer, more accessible insight. Companies purchasing Label Traxx can also add AVA as part of their implementation, creating a connected ERP and analytics environment from the beginning.

Addressing Common Analytics Concerns

Some converters may already have reports that support their operation. Those reports remain useful, but AVA adds the ability to interact with the information, drill into the details, and create new views when the original report does not tell the complete story.

Others may have an IT team capable of building dashboards with a general-purpose analytics platform. The question is not whether it can be done, but how much time must be invested in connecting, modeling, building, and maintaining it. AVA gives IT teams and business users a purpose-built foundation without requiring a separate data-integration project.

Adding a software subscription is an investment. That investment should be weighed against the employee time spent pulling exports, combining spreadsheets, rebuilding reports, and waiting for answers. AVA helps replace that recurring work with faster, repeatable access to information.

Your data should do more than document what has already happened. It should help your team understand what is happening now, investigate why, and decide what to do next.
