Summary:

The Project Manager role is a key part of Amtech’s Implementation Services team, overseeing the successful delivery of our projects for our customers. The Project Manager is required to have strong planning and organization skills, be an excellent communicator, and be a visible leader both with our customers and within Amtech. 

Team members must be comfortable working in a dynamic environment, with customers located in multiple geographies, and be willing to adjust schedules to meet the needs of the specific project.

Job Description:

The Project Manager is expected to:
  • Lead the successful completion of Amtech’s customer projects inclusive of:
    • Lead the creation and ongoing management of the project plan, inclusive of proactive communication with team members regarding upcoming activities and milestones
    • Lead the execution of project activities in accordance with Amtech’s implementation methodology
    • Lead/facilitate project meetings
    • Manage the project issue log and drive each issue to completion including follow-up with designated owner, establishment of plan to resolve, and confirming with key project personnel that resolution is acceptable
    • Status reporting
    • Invoicing to the client
    • Forecasting and resource scheduling
  • Lead and/or assist in the development of presentations and proposals for purposes of delivery to customers and/or internal stakeholders.
  • Drive improvements across the Implementation Services organizations with the objective of increasing efficiencies internally and improving upon our ability to services our customers.
  • Lead and/or support organizational initiatives of Amtech including sales cycle support, practice aid development, and improving operating procedures.
  • Have an extensive understanding of the capabilities and functionality of Amtech’s solutions and familiarity with the industries our solutions support.
  • Mentor and support other Implementation Services team members to improve their skillsets and ability to successfully implement Amtech’s solutions.
  • Maintain an average of utilization level of 65% or greater.

Qualifications:

  • Experience leading the implementation of enterprise application software
  • Successful track record within professional services organization
  • Bachelor’s degree
