Development Update for March 2023

The Amtech Development team is busy enhancing and updating many of our software products. We’re excited to share some highlights from a few of our key initiatives.

 Sign & Drive 

EnCore Sign & Drive accelerates time to payment by putting the customer delivery signoff at the dock at the moment of delivery. This next generation of Mobile Force Delivery allows you to:

• Send email and text alerts to multiple customer contacts and drivers for product being shipped at time of departure from your facility
• Capture signature at delivery on a mobile device with automatic proof-of-delivery emails and optionally automatically invoice the customer
• Create Quality/RGA complaint records during delivery, accelerating complaint resolution
• Give drivers complete visibility to all stops for their trip using a mobile phone or tablet
• Return-to-Yard feature allows drivers to update the trailer as being available for re-use (timestamp included for history)

Sign & Drive will launch in Spring 2023.

SmartShip

If you plan your own truck routes, you’ll definitely want to take a look at SmartShip, which is the next evolution of Shipment Planning.

Algorithms in SmartShip help your shipping department plan multiple trailers and stops. With SmartShip you're able to:

• Sort through your selected orders and split them into different shipment plans
• Move orders between trailers using drag-and-drop functionality for load balancing and other factors based on visualization of the multiple shipments
• View a new 3D visualization of trailers, allowing users to see how the trailer is going to be stacked to optimize trailers saving time and money on transportation
• View route maps with real-time traffic information as well as trip information with mileage, weight, and times

SmartShip is targeted for release in late Summer 2023.

Planning Board (Advanced Converting Scheduling)

We are also busy rewriting Planning Board with a couple of key enhancements:

•  Modernized application architecture and user interface to allow for a robust and fluid scheduling experience
•  Enhanced converting engine system to create schedules for each plant separately in a multi-plant environment

The new version will launch in Fall 2023.
