Coastal Container Implements Amtech’s new Quality Extension

Amtech Software today announced that Michigan-based custom packaging manufacturer, Coastal Container Corporation, has implemented the new Quality extension for Imaginera in efforts to improve plant efficiency and customer communication.

Amtech's Quality extension greatly expands upon the existing RGA functionality within Imaginera. In addition to providing quality managers with improved methods to track complaints, credit requests, and returned goods, it also adds the ability to identify the root cause and implement correc­tive and preventive action plans. The new system stores all quality issues into a single reposi­tory, and provides a graphical overview based on current process status.

 The Quality module is installed remotely and once activated the new features are easily accessed (based on user permissions) from new buttons within standard Imaginera screens including customer, ship-to-order, inventory item, spec and PDE screens.
