Bay Cities launches Amtech’s Customer Care Portal

Amtech Software president Cosmo DeNicola announces that Bay Cities, a premier designer and manufacturer of packaging displays, will become the latest customer of Amtech’s new extension, the Customer Care Portal (CCP). The Customer Care Portal is a completely cloud-based, online software platform that offers end-users insight into production and access to order related data stored within a packaging company’s MRP system.

 “The Customer Care Portal is powerful tool,” says Bay Cities IT Director Jim Hawton. “We are excited about the integration with our Imaginera system and the positive impact it will have on our business, especially in the areas of sales and customer service."

The Customer Care Portal is designed to manage the entire supply chain from design to delivery and offers integration with Amtech extensions including Mobile Sales & Logistics, as well as Esko’s Webcenter. The tool allows end-customers to view orders and item information, request quotes, place orders, view delivery and invoice documents, and directly communicate with their packaging supplier via a dedicated and customized portal on the internet. With CCP, Bay Cities will have the ability to automate basic account management activities and stay connected with their customers through creating a relationship that is mutually beneficial for both the business and the customer.
