Amtech Enhances Mobile Sales App With New Features

Fort Washington, Pennsylvania based Amtech Software has released a new version of its popular sales application, Mobile Sales. Mobile Sales is a part of Amtech’s ongoing efforts to provide customers with functional, powerful tools that extend the reach of the Imaginera ERP system. The revamped app, which is now available for direct download on Apple’s app store, features enhancements to the user interface (new skin and iOS 8 accommodations), as well as bug fixes and new functionality.

   Some of the app’s most notable new features include the ability for users to create and import a new customer from contact, merge the device and application calendar, view sheet orders in Backlog Detail View, as well as the ability to send alerts off RGA/AFA Fixed Alert emails when sending to more than one person.

   Amtech’s Mobile Sales was first introduced in Spring 2010 as a way to provide packaging sales reps with 24/7-access to critical account management information, including sales, orders, backlogs, quotes, inventory, and receivables. The app finished third in the 2010 AICC Innovation of the Year contest, and the iPad version placed second in the same competition a year later.
